Jon Tull is the founder and President of FarmSolutions and operates a commercial avocado orchard where all FarmSolutions hardware, software and high resolution crop image data is collected. Prior to Farm Solutions, Jon founded and ran a successful software company for over 10 years, which he later sold to RealPage, a public software company. Jon remained at RealPage as Division President and corporate SVP prior to starting FarmSolutions.

Leading the FarmSolutions team in user experience and user interaction, Vincent Rodriguez has raised the bar for products and services within the FarmSolutions portfolio. He brings over 18 years of experience and the ability to translate complex ideas into functional, intuitive solutions for every product.

Katharine Rosser serves as the Sales Engineer for Farm Solutions, overseeing the sales and marketing of products and services. She is a proud graduate of Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo, where she received a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Marketing. Katharine’s agricultural roots run deep, having been raised in the family business of rodeo production, where she honed her business and management skills.

Rebecca Chaves graduated from Cal Poly, SLO in 2003 with a BS in Crop Science. She found a job in her home town of Santa Maria, selling baby and specialty produce, after 6 years of selling she wanted to get out from behind the desk and work more closely with growers. Rebecca lives in Santa Ynez, Ca, she is married with 3 step sons and a dog.

David Crowley is a professor in the Environmental Sciences department at University of California Riverside with specialties in soil microbiology and plant soil relations. Dr. Crowley serves as a consultant and advisor to Farm Solutions, providing guidance related to soil moisture, data analysis and interpretation. Dr. Crowley’s years of experience in the lab and field provides the Farm Solutions team a blend of practical soil and plant science guidance paired with academic rigor.

Dr. Sheri Shiflett serves as a consultant and advisor to Farm Solutions, providing guidance related to UAV-based aerial analysis of plant health. Dr. Shiflett is also conducting postdoctoral research associate in the Botany and Plant Sciences department at University of California Riverside with specialties in remote sensing and plant ecophysiology, especially plant water relations and light harvesting.

Applying sound knowledge of design patterns and object modeling to diverse applications, Steven Schwartz brings FarmSolutions over 20 years of experience solving complex problems as a software engineer.

Simi brings over 12 years of experience developing software applications in various market segments. She works in Farmsolutions API, applying design patterns and object oriented programming.

Holding dual Master degrees in Geographic Information Science (GIS) and Computer Science, Weijie Wang brings over four years experience in GIS and Software development into the team, working as Software Engineer to provide high value map services and turn concepts into new technologies and services.

Matt Clark brings 10 years of experience building the user interfaces for products. He is instrumental in keeping Farm Solutions at the leading edge of agricultural technology.

With a master degree of electrical engineering in signals and systems at UCLA, Wenbo Yuan has been working on firmware coding and hardware design for products and service of Farm Solutions. He will be also working on computer vision and data analysis for the images collected by UAV's.

The UAV Operator and Mission Planner for FarmSolutions, using unmanned air systems and vehicles, we are able to collect aerial images through advanced sensing systems that can give us important information about the farm. Using advanced sensors such as Thermal, Multispectral, and HD RGB, we are able to detect information of a given area such as plant stress, disease and pathogen, irrigation levels, and zone boundaries, all of which are essential pieces of information for farm optimization.

David is responsible for ongoing support to new and existing clients, building trust and strong long-term relationships ensuring that quality and service exceed customer expectations.

Joseph has joined the Farm Solutions team as a liaison between customers, and all Farm Solutions has to offer. Joseph's job is to making sure that the lines of communication remain open on a personal basis between Farm Solutions and our great customers.
